GERALD PEART
Peart is a self-taught photographer with over 30 years of service and credits to his name.
A keen eye for detail and end product delivery has been the key to his sustained success.
He has documented & provide his skills to corporations/executives/professionals, non-Profit organizations, public relations agencies, news groups for their special event programs and conferences throughout his tenure.
Geralds’ early exposure came as a member of NYABJ – (New York Associated for Black Journalist) where he was first introduced to major media and their affiliates. It’s thru this membership that he became a freelance photographer for the Big Red News (Today – The New York Beacon); and still contributes his images today as well as other African American Newspapers within the New York city area.
As a freelance photographer, his coverage led him to meet and submit his images to the New York’s major dailies; the news desk mangers of the Daily New, Newsday, as well as the AP (Associated Press) to name a few encouraged and help shape Gerald’s photographic eye.
